Fall arrest device with two fall arrest blocks

Depending on your work, you may find yourself in situations where you need to constantly switch to a different anchor point. Since you are likely to be in an area where fall hazards exist, you need to be constantly connected.

Blocfor DUO EVO fall arrest device.

This is why we have developed a dual Blocfor, the Blocfor 1.8 DUO EVO ESD. With this new product you can be attached to the structure with 1 hook and if you need to pass an obstacle or go to another anchoring point, you attach the second hook to the structure. When the second hook is attached, you can remove the first hook. If you work this way, you will always be secured.

Blocfor fall arrester with ESD technology

The Blocfor 1.8 DUO EVO ESD, fall arrester is equipped with the new ESD system (Extremity System Dissipator). The ESD system assures the user of an impact of less than 600 daN even if he falls while the lanyard is fully uncoiled. The ESD system reduces the force of impact on the user's body in the event of a fall.

The Blocfor DUO can be used for maintenance work in gondolas, on scaffolding, climbing masts and pylons.

Features Blocfor DUO:

- Suitable for horizontal use with edges with a minimum radius of 0.5 mm.
- Can be used in fall factor 2: ability to work above the anchoring point of the equipment.
- Equipped with an M47 connector and an M51 connector. M51 is a connector with large opening, made in aluminum: universal and light.
- Takes up little space.
- Very low weight.
- Good ergonomics that guarantees a perfect grip.
- One end is equipped with the Tractel ESD system.
